Our best selling Brumleve® Super Duty Steel Tarp Bow with Elbows is built in-house and is our strongest tarp bow available. Made with schedule 80 galvanized steel tube, this tarp bow is made for the toughest work environments. Designed to be adjustable in order to properly fit varying width trailers, it easily slides in and out of the bow brackets allowing for quick install and removal without tools. See our chart below to choose the correct tarp bow for your trailer.

84-90 inch 96 inch wide trailers with brackets mounted on the inside rails (typically 84-86 inches on center). Choose between 10 and 12 inch rise depending on the how tall you want the arc of your tarp to be.

ADJUSTABLE WIDTH

A Set Screw is installed on one end to allow for width adjustments. This is useful if your trailer isn't exactly 96 inches wide.

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Weld one elbow/shank on the end without the Set Screw. Insert at least 4 inches of the elbow inside the tarp bow for strength support.
  2. Insert the other elbow and loosen the Set Screw to adjust the width so the tarp bow fits securely inside the brackets mounted to the inside of the trailer.
  3. Once it is properly fitted inside the brackets, tighten the Set Screw to secure the length.

Please note our tarp bows do not ship with the elbow welded in. The images are only used to show what the finished tarp bow should look like when assembled.

Designed to bend and spring back when hit, these tarp bows work perfect for dump trailers hauling big sized rock or concrete chunks. They also withstand accidental hits by loaders.
Super Duty 96 and 102 inch wide dump trailers and dump trucks. Our strongest option available, the Super Duty tarp bow is built using Schedule 80 pipe and primarily used in trailers that haul big sized rock and concrete chunks.
