Q. How long has Brumleve Industries been in business?

Since 1904, when Louis G. Brumleve opened a harness shop on Main Street in Teutopolis, Illinois. As farming and trucking technology changed over the decades, the business evolved from harness-making into a full-service manufacturer of tarp systems and metal fabrication.

Q. Is Brumleve still family-owned?

Yes. The company has stayed in the Brumleve family for three generations. Michael Brumleve took over as CEO in 2021 from his father, Don, continuing a tradition that traces back to Louis Brumleve in 1904.

Q. Where is Brumleve Industries located?

Our manufacturing facility is at 1317 West Main Street, Teutopolis, IL 62467. We've operated from this location since 1990, and it houses our showroom, parts room, warehouse, and production floor.

Q. What does Brumleve Industries make and service?

We install and service roll tarp systems for dump trailers, grain trailers, farm trucks, grain carts, and gravity wagons — electric, crank, ratchet, and cable systems. We also manufacture custom aluminum storage boxes, and custom parts in aluminum, steel, and stainless steel.

Q. Which tarp system brands do you carry?

We're an authorized dealer for Shur-Co, Roll-Rite, Thunderstone, Sioux City, Aero, and Agri-Cover, and we carry a full line of hardware and replacement parts for each — tarp bows, stops, cranks, and more.

Q. Do you do custom metal fabrication?

Yes. Beyond tarp hardware, we fabricate custom parts using aluminum and steel.

Q. Who are your typical customers?

Farmers and truckers across Effingham County and the greater Midwest. If your work involves hauling grain, running a construction site, or keeping a fleet on the road, our tarp systems and fabricated parts are built for that kind of daily wear.
