Welcome to Brumleve Industries!
The distinction between a male and female connector is that the female has protruding parts that connect to the male receptacle, or jack. Our Male Plug with Vertical Pins is designed to work with a variety of roll tarp, sliding tarp, and trailer part systems; and is customized specifically for the Shur-Co and Roll-Rite systems with vertical pins.
A reliable electrical connection is critical for the safe operation of trailer tarp systems. Male plugs provide the critical link between your vehicle's electrical system and your trailer's tarp controls, providing consistent power delivery for roll tarps, sliding tarps, and other electric tarp systems. At Brumleve, we've supplied and serviced these connectors for over 30 years, giving us deep knowledge of what works in real-world hauling conditions.
Our male plugs deliver practical advantages for trailer tarp system applications through thoughtful design and quality construction.

Benefits
We offer three male plug configurations to accommodate different tarp system wiring requirements:
Vertical Pins - The pins arranged vertically to match standard tarp system harnesses. This is the most common configuration for Roll-Rite and Shur-Co systems, accounting for approximately 80% of electric tarp systems in our service experience.
Horizontal Pins - The horizontal pin configuration arranges pins horizontally to match horizontally-oriented female receptacles. This option is common in older tarp systems and certain custom installations.
Universal Pins - The universal pin configuration works with multiple wiring systems, making it ideal for varied trailer setups. We recommend this option if you manage different trailer types or aren't sure which pin configuration you need.
When selecting your male plug, verify the pin configuration of your existing wiring harness or consult your tarp system documentation to confirm proper compatibility. If you're replacing a damaged plug, bring the old connector to compare pin orientation before ordering.
Ensure your tarp system performs reliably with the correct Male Plug configuration. Choose the pin style that matches your system and maintain secure, consistent electrical connections on every haul.
